World of Vision is doctor owned and operated right here in Ankeny, Iowa. Since our office opened in 2006, we’ve treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Other offices may offer same day service, but here at World of Vision, we believe that you deserve better than a short visit. We do our utmost to provide you with a thorough exam and present you with all your options in a caring and friendly environment.

Dr. Gist and his staff are just amazing. They make you feel comfortable and listen carefully to you. Dr. Gist is very outgoing and has an amazing bedside/chair side manor. I have worn glasses since I was 8 and he gives the most comprehensive eye exam I have ever had.
The staff our front make purchasing new glasses or contacts easy.
