About Dr. Russell R. Gist

Dr. Gist is a lifelong resident of the Des Moines area and a 1982 graduate of Saydel Consolidated. He graduated from Iowa State University in 1995 with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry. After graduating from Illinois College of Optometry in 2000, Dr. Gist practiced with an optical group in Des Moines. 

World Of Vision was opened by Dr. Gist in 2006 with a desire to "treat patients right". World Of Vision practices family vision care with an emphasis on disease management.
